Free Flow was launched on the interchange of the Central Ring Road and Dmitrovskoe Highway

In Moscow Region, a new interchange was opened in the area of the intersection of the third sub-section of the Central Ring Road and Dmitrovskoe Highway. This significant infrastructure project is a vital component in the ongoing development of the region’s road network, substantially enhancing transport accessibility of surrounding area.
The opening of the interchange enabled redistributing transportation flows from the A-107 Moscow Small Ring Road to the Central Ring Road, as well as significantly improving the conditions for transit traffic to bypass Moscow. This reduces the load on the urban highways, reduces travel times, and increases driver comfort.
The interchange is part of the toll-based Central Ring Road and is equipped with the Free Flow tolling system developed by Telematika Corporation. The cutting-edge technology enables paying tolls without stopping or reducing speed, thereby maintaining consistent traffic flow and boosting the road’s capacity.
Additionally, the interchange is equipped with intelligent transportation systems, the key element of which is the next-generation automated traffic control system (ATCS) developed by Telematika Corporation. With the help of computer vision technology, it monitors traffic conditions, weather, and the state of road network in real time. It automatically detects incidents and proactively alerts drivers to changes in the situation along the route.
Opening the interchange marks yet another stride in the development of a modern and technologically advanced transportation network in the Moscow region, which is focused on safety, high traffic capacity, and user convenience.
