Free Flow launches on a new portion of the M-12 Vostok Highway – bypassing five localities in Bashkortostan

On December 12, 2025, the cutting-edge Free Flow tolling system, which was developed and deployed by Telematika Corporation, was started on a new bypass of five localities in the Republic of Bashkortostan. This section of road is now under the trust management of the Avtodor State Corporation. The innovative system enables drivers to pay tolls without stopping or reducing speed, thereby ensuring uninterrupted traffic flow. The technical operation of the intelligent road systems will be overseen by General Operator (part of Telematika Corporation).
Implementing the Free Flow system enables increasing the traffic capacity of the road, reduces travel times, and creates comfortable conditions for drivers, all of which is extremely important for the development of high-speed federal transportation corridors. The road is connected with the Dyurtyuli–Achit section of the M-12 highway, which was previously opened in July 2025, and is a part of the uninterrupted high-speed route. It is a continuation of the M-12 Highway up to Yekaterinburg and provides unimpeded traffic thanks to united technical solutions along the entire length of the route.
The new road is 65 kilometers long and enables bypassing the localities of Isametovo, Verkhneyarkeevo, Layashty, Ishkarovo, and Asyanovo, thereby reducing the transportation loads on local road network and increasing traffic safety. The bypass is a four-lane highway with two lanes in each direction. The speed limit is 90 km/h for passenger vehicles and 70 km/h for freight transportation.
